Oliver’s formal main work experience was undertaken as General Manager of a large Hotel and Leisure Group.  He entered the business at the initial build stage and was responsible for developing it into a £2m business. The role included operations, marketing and business development.

In 1992 TBL was founded, offering Organisational Development from Croft-na-Caber.

1995 – Present
Oliver spun TBL off from Croft-na-Caber and took it over as director of the limited company.  TBL now offers organisational development - including experiential learning - in the fields of High Performance Leadership, Teambuilding, Facilitation, Talent Development etc.  The business has an enviable portfolio of clients including numerous multinationals with assignments throughout the UK, in Europe, Turkey and the USA. 

Of special note is the High Performance Leadership Programme developed by Oliver and TBL.  This entered its evolution about 6 years ago with a major government funded piece of research into leadership.  This programme now makes a significance contribution to organisational leadership.  Leadership programmes are currently under way for a number of major organisations (Scottish and Southern Energy, Babcock, Whyte and McKay).  Incorporated the latest in thinking in Talent Development, licensed from Novations, the worlds 5th largest HR company based in Utah.

Oliver is also facilitating approximately 6 major projects including high profile nuclear decommissioning Alliances and Partnerships.

Oliver is a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the Graduate Business School, Strathclyde, and has helped develop and deliver The Learning Manager MBA module globally.  He also delivers for the MBM and BITs programmes.
